This Privacy Policy explains how PaysOut - Payment Tracker and SoundBox (“App”, “we”, “our”, “us”) collects, uses, stores, and shares data when you use the Android app.

By using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

1) What the App Does

PaysOut helps users track payment notifications from supported apps (for example banks, UPI, and messaging notifications), show payment history/analytics, and optionally share selected payment data with trusted contacts through the “Circles” feature.

2) Data We Collect

A) Notification Data (when you enable Notification Access)

When you grant Notification Listener access, the App can read notification content from other apps, including:

  • app/package name
  • notification title
  • notification text / expanded text

This is used to detect and parse payment events.

B) Parsed Payment Data

From notification content, the App may derive and store:

  • amount
  • currency
  • direction (incoming/outgoing)
  • counterparty name (if detected)
  • mode/type (e.g., UPI, bank, card)
  • timestamp
  • reference/transaction identifier (if available)

C) Account & Circles Data (if you use Circles)

If you sign in and use Circles, we may process:

  • your sign-in identity (for example email/account identifier)
  • circle membership/invites
  • selected payment details you choose to share with circle members

D) Device/App Data

  • app settings and preferences
  • basic diagnostics/logging needed for reliability and fraud/abuse prevention

E) Advertising Data

If ads are enabled in your app version, ad partners may process ad-related identifiers and telemetry according to their own policies.

3) What We Do Not Collect or Store in Production

In production releases, raw notification text is not stored as transaction history after parsing.
(Development/debug builds may have additional diagnostics for testing only, not intended for public production use.)

4) Why We Process Data

We process data to:

  • detect payment notifications
  • show transaction history and analytics
  • provide user-selected sharing through Circles
  • maintain security, prevent abuse, and improve reliability
  • provide ads
